Description

The SwitchBot Contact Sensor (White) is a small yet powerful smart sensor designed to monitor doors, windows, and other objects for movement. Its built-in motion and contact detection capabilities alert you in real-time via the SwitchBot app when contact occurs, helping enhance security and home automation. When connected to a SwitchBot Hub Mini, the sensor can trigger push notifications, voice alarms, or automated scenes with other SwitchBot devices. Its compact, easy-to-install design allows placement almost anywhere, from doors and windows to pet cages or appliances, making it a versatile first line of defense for your home.

How to use:
- Place the Sensor: Align the magnet with the bottom of the main sensor body and attach to a door, window, drawer, or appliance.
- Power On: Insert the CR2 battery; device will activate automatically.
- Connect via SwitchBot App: Open the app and tap “+” to add a new device. Follow on-screen instructions to pair via Bluetooth.
- Set Notifications & Alerts: Configure push notifications, automated scenes, and voice alerts through the app when the sensor detects contact.
- Automation Integration: Pair with other SwitchBot devices (lights, locks, plugs) to trigger actions automatically when the sensor detects an event.
- Placement Tips: Ensure magnet and sensor are aligned properly for accurate detection; avoid placing on unstable surfaces.

Exchanges & Returns
You may request an exchange/refund within 30 days of the date of purchase subject to Metro’s store returns policy. The merchandise, including any gifts with purchase, will need to be returned in its original condition and packaging with its receipt at any Metro Customer Service Counters.

For exchanges, customers may choose to exchange their purchase with any merchandise with the same value available in the Metro store at the point of exchange.

For refunds, a Metro Credit Voucher (valid for 6 months upon issuance) will be issued.
