Treasured by Metro is an elevated loyalty programme designed to recognise and reward your engagement with us—beyond the transaction. Enjoy complimentary membership with exclusive privileges and curated benefits.
You can sign up in-store or online (click here). Once you submit your particulars, an OTP will be sent to your registered Singapore mobile number. Your membership account will be activated instantly upon OTP verification.
Treasured by Metro loyalty programme is open to all individuals aged 18 and above at the time of application.
Your membership begins immediately after you complete your registration. However, you must activate your account using the OTP sent to your registered email address before you can start earning and redeeming points.
No, it is a free membership.
No. Each individual is entitled to only one Treasured Programme membership account. Metro (Private) Limited reserves the right to terminate any duplicate accounts, and all points accumulated in that account will be voided.
No. Treasured is a non-transferable/non-sharable loyalty programme. If a member is found using another person’s account to earn points or enjoy benefits, Metro (Private) Limited reserves the right to terminate the membership.
No, it is strictly non-transferable.
Yes, you may do so at our Customer Service centre at either Metro Paragon or Metro Causeway Point. Please provide our Customer Service delegate with the phone numbers linked to both accounts and inform them which account you would like to retain.
2. MEMBERSHIP & TIER STATUS

You may provide your mobile number linked to your Treasured Account at the point of purchase.
Your membership account includes a spend tracker to show how close you are to reaching the next tier.
We took into consideration of all your spends up till the day of the launch of Treasured and place you in a Treasured tier based on that. As a start of a refreshed programme, all members’ trackers will start from $0.
Your Treasured membership does not expire. However, to retain your current tier status, you must meet the minimum spend requirement within 12 months of achieving that tier. You can view the minimum spend for each tier here.
Your upgraded status takes effect immediately after the qualifying transaction is completed. It remains valid until the last day of the 12th month from the start month of your new tier. You can view the minimum spend for each tier here.
Example: If you qualify for Gold on 19 May 2025, your Gold tier will be valid until 31 May 2026.
To upgrade or retain your membership tier, you must meet the minimum cumulative nett spend within 12 months of entering that tier. The spending criteria for tier upgrades and renewals are the same. You can view the minimum spend for each tier here.
Example: If you qualify for Gold on 19 May 2025, you must spend at least $500 by 31 May 2026 to maintain your Gold status. If you don’t meet the spend requirement, your status will revert to Silver.
Your cumulative nett spend is calculated based on your total spend over a 12-month period, after deducting all discounts.
You can enjoy your new tier benefits immediately after qualifying, except for parking privileges, which will take effect the following day.
If you do not meet the minimum spend requirement within your 12-month tier period, your membership will be downgraded by a tier (i.e. from Pearl to Gold, from Gold to Silver).
3. EARNING TREASURED POINTS
You can earn Treasured Points on qualifying transactions made at our retail stores and online at www.metro.com.sg. You may also earn bonus Treasured Points by participating in selected Metro engagement and marketing activities when applicable.
Points earn rate is based on the tier member is in before the transaction is made.
Example:If you are a Silver tier member and you make a transaction of $700 in a single receipt, you will earn 700 Treasured Points (earn rate base on Silver tier), but be upgraded to the Gold tier immediately upon the successful transaction and your earn rate will be at $1 = 2 TP from the next transaction
Yes, you may split your bill to optimise your Treasured Points, provided the transaction includes multiple items. Our cashiers will be able to assist with splitting your purchase accordingly.
Example: If you are a Silver Tier member purchasing a single item worth $700, you will earn 700 Treasured Points (TP) as the item cannot be split. However, this purchase will immediately upgrade you to the Gold Tier.
However, if you purchase 2 items summing up to $700 (item A cost $500 and item B cost $700), the cashier can help you split your bill to maximise your points:
· The first $500 can be processed under the first bill, earning 500TP at the Silver Tier rate of $1 = 1TP.
· The remaining $200 can be processed under a second bill, earning 400TP at the Gold Tier rate of $1 = 2TP.
In total, you will earn 900TP for a $700 spend.
Transactions made via Metro-UOB credit cards will not be eligible for Treasured Points. However, those transactions made via Metro-UOB credit cards will still be eligible for the 5% rebate in the form of Metro$.
Transactions made using e-gift vouchers redeemed from Treasured Points will not earn additional Treasured Points.

Points are awarded based on the nett purchase value, after all discounts have been applied.
For Silver Tier, Earn 1 point with $1 nett spend.
For Gold Tier, Earn 2 points with $1 nett spend.
For Pearl Tier, Earn 3 points with $1 nett spend.
For Jade Tier, Earn 5 points with $1 nett spend.
· For in-store purchases, points will be credited immediately upon payment.
· For online purchases, points will be credited upon successful delivery of order.
For bonus points during the promotional period and other marketing activities, please follow the Terms and Conditions of the respective promotions to understand the grace period for awarding your bonus points.
You can view your points balance and transaction history by logging into your Treasured Account.
Additionally, your current points balance will be printed at the bottom of your in-store transaction receipt.
No. Retrospective claims are not allowed. Treasured Points must be earned in real-time at the point of payment by providing your registered mobile number.
No. Treasured Points are non-transferable.
Treasured Points are awarded based on nett purchase value, after all discounts (excluding Metro Gift Vouchers) have been applied. Payments made using Metro E-Gift Vouchers (i.e. vouchers redeemed using Treasured Points) will not be entitled to Treasured Points. Metro-UOB credit card are entitled to Metro$ but not Treasured Points.
Yes. A maximum of ten (10) qualifying transactions per day per Treasured by Metro membership account are eligible for earning Treasured Points.
All points will be transferred to the account you choose to retain.
Points will retain their original expiry dates. Points earned earlier will expire earlier, regardless of the account they are transferred to. Do note that Treasured Points will expire on the last day of the 12th month from date of crediting.
Points will be transferred as-is to the retained account. The points will not be adjusted based on tier differences.
4. REDEEMING TREASURED POINTS
You can redeem your Treasured Points to offset purchases at both Metro retails stores and the online store. Every 500 Treasured Points allows you to redeem a $5 Metro E-voucher which can be used to offset your purchase at Metro Paragon, Metro Causeway Point or www.metro.com.sg.
Yes. Treasured Points must be redeemed within 12 months from date of crediting. Treasured Points will expire on the last day of the 12th month from date of points crediting.
Example:
Treasured Points earned on 19 May 2025 must be redeemed by 31 May 2026. Any unutilised points after 31 May 2026 will expire and be forfeited.
No, Treasured Points are strictly non-transferrable.
The Treasured Points earned from that item will be debited from your account accordingly.
If Treasured Points have already been redeemed before the return, Metro reserves the right to adjust the refund amount accordingly.
If you used Treasured Points to offset a portion of your purchase and subsequently request a refund, the value of the Treasured Points used will be returned to you in the form of credit vouchers, equivalent to the amount redeemed through your points.
Your Treasured by Metro loyalty programme membership and any related benefits will be cancelled immediately. You will no longer be able to use any balance Treasured Points and enjoy the programme's privileges thereafter.
5. BENEFITS & PRIVILEGES
The redemption rate is the same across all membership tiers: 500 Treasured Points = $5 Metro E Gift -Voucher. However, the earn rate increases with each tier:

To earn 500 points ($5 rebate):
· Silver members need to spend $500 (1% rebate)
· Gold members need to spend $250 (2% rebate)
· Pearl members need to spend $167 (3% rebate)
· Jade members need to spend $100 (5% rebate)
The higher your membership level, the faster you earn rewards!
For purchases made using Metro E Gift-Vouchers (i.e. vouchers redeemed using Treasured Points), Treasured Points will only be awarded to the portion of the transaction paid with cash or credit/debit cards (excluding Metro-UOB credit card).
Your birthday voucher will be available on the 1st day of your birthday month and will be valid for one (1) month from date of issuance.
If your membership tier is upgraded during your birthday month and you have not used the voucher yet, the voucher will then be updated to match your new tier
Complimentary parking is only offered at Paragon to Pearl members, with a minimum spend of $100 made in a single day at Metro Paragon, and Jade members with any purchase made in a single day at Metro Paragon. Present your transaction receipt to our Customer Service to claim your free parking. Please note that free parking must be redeemed and is only valid on date of transaction.
6. METRO-UOB CREDIT CARD HOLDER
Metro-UOB credit card holders will not be able to earn Treasured Points on transactions made with the Metro-UOB credit card. However, they will still be able to enjoy the 10% discount on all regular- priced blue tag items, the 5% rebate given in Metro$, as well as the other membership benefits based on their tier.
Minimum spend to be upgraded will be the same as non Metro-UOB credit card holders. You may refer to the table in 2.1.
Metro-UOB Cardmembers are not eligible to earn Treasured Points on purchases made with the Metro-UOB Card. However, the spend amount will still be recorded under the customer’s Treasured Account and will count towards tier upgrades (if any).
Example: A Silver Tier member with 0 points spends $700 with a Metro-UOB Card.
· No Treasured Points are earned for the transaction.
· The $700 spend is recorded on the spend tracker and automatically upgrades the member to Gold Tier.
· The member can now enjoy Gold Tier benefits and earn points at the Gold rate for future purchases.
