La Gourmet Cast Iron cookware works on gas, electric, ceramic, induction, and in ovens, suitable for all cooking methods. To Use: heat gradually, then lower the flame as cast iron retains heat well. Never heat empty pans or boil dry. Use grill pans for dry cooking and enamelled casseroles for wet cooking. Lift cookware to avoid scratches. When the Handles get hot, use oven mitts or cloths. Avoid metal utensils or cutting on the enamelled surface. Before first use, wash, dry, and oil the cookware. Warm on low heat for 20 minutes, then cool. Dry thoroughly after washing. Black enamel may develop a patina over time—do not scrub. Handle carefully to prevent damage. This keeps your La Gourmet Cast Iron cookware durable, safe, and efficient.
